As always, dA makes such minced meat of my work.. it's much better full sized and in person, but the dA compression has destroyed the smoothness of her hair as well as the glow effect and sharpness of the magma breaking through her body.. *grumble*
This is a commission piece for a group of musicians I'm working with. I plan to paint a few more to go with this one.
It's my first piece using Photoshop CS5- and it was wonderful to use.
Poser 8, Photoshop CS5, Intuos 4 drawpad.
She's a bald, generic base from Daz3d.com's v4.2- customized, modified, lit, posed, and rendered by me- then taken into Photoshop. Spent probably 14-16 hours in Photoshop painting this one.
The image is composed of Daz3d.com's products:
Victoria 4.2 (and morphs), (collar and bands) The Rulers of Egypt, (column) The Queens Chamber, (rubble) Ruins of Alecto - stunning construction set I highly recommend it!, and, as always, the talented *deviney
's amazing commercially available brushes- Smoke, Flames, and Concrete -- Best advise I can give- visit his account at Daz3d.com and try them out [link]
They are a real time saver when it comes to textural work.. I use one of his concrete brushes to paint everything from hair to cloth textures.. They're all wonderful, useful tools and worth every penny.
All elements are either created by me, or purchased and fully commercially licensed by me.
