Rough couple of days- glad the weekend is here and it brought presents: my order came in from PainfulPleasures.com today, and now all of my piercings are a uniform 10gauge- which is awesome for someone who's OCD about these things.  My Double Helix had been a 12g, and this time?  Slid right in with no resistance.  I actually had to check and be sure that I'd grabbed the right rings and not accidentally slid my old 12s back in.  Stretched the last nipple to a 10g as well (it wasn't a difficult jump, but you definitely notice it 2 days in), and, my septum/lobes and the rest have been 10g since around April, so now everything *finally* matches and my brain can stop being squirrelly when I think about it.  The hubby will be sizing up to his 4gauge Prince Albert in a few days - and I think that'll be some of the last stretching he's doing for a while aside from working on his tunnels (he recently put them back in after having them out for 6 years).  Anyway, it's been an interesting year of slow modification- I'm glad to be at my stopping point for a while.. until I decide I want to push for tunnels instead of rings..  heh.  Still- this is taken care of for a while- time to move back to tattooing!
